Technology Inspiration
What happens when all syringes are replaced by painless micro needles? Are the capabilites of current syrniges adequet for use in hospital and commercial settings. If the creation of a painless, more sustainable, syringe was available what would the attributes be?
Patients who are already in the hospital would benefit from having micro needle technology because of the pain reduction.
Patient information and reminders for nurses will allow for more accurate medicine distribution.
E-Ink Display
Easy dissasembly allows for proper cleaning after use. The integrated display allows for better communication, and increase awareness of staff and patients.
Inductive Charge Dock
This dock is more that just a means to charge the device, it is a hub for information and organization. The dock enables used, unused, and in progress devices to be accounted for. The green lights indicate clean and prepared devices to alert nurses on the proper med/dosage schedule.
A large plunger allows for better penatration of the micro needle patch.
